Science-Based Homesteading for Dreamers and Doers
Homesteading is a dream for many of us. Some try. Some succeed. Some fail. Most never even start. All of those stories are worth telling.
These pages tell all of those stories — the romance, the sweat, the tears, the lessons, and the victories. I've lived a few chapters of our story already, and I'm in the middle of a new one right now. Some of what you'll find here comes straight from the trenches of daily farm life. Some pages are the result of deep research dives — the kind where you disappear for hours and resurface with seventeen browser tabs open — particularly around the rare and critically endangered livestock breeds we're working to preserve.
Whether you're dreaming from a suburban backyard or already knee-deep in mud and manure, there's something here for you. We'll get into the soil, the animals, the kitchen, the systems, and the mindset it takes to build something that actually works. I don't have all the answers — but I'm asking the right questions, and I'll bring you along for every step of finding them.
What's in your story?
